Genre-bending artist Kenny Flowers made a striking return this spring with his two-single EP Move, featuring the tracks “Gotta Move” and “Goin,” released on March 24th. Fusing elements of jazz, R&B, and soul, the project offered listeners a textured sonic journey built for late-night drives, introspective moments, and immersive listening.
Created with an unwavering spirit of raw authenticity, Move was produced using Ableton in the living room of Kenny Flowers’ child’s mother and recorded inside his car. That DIY process wasn’t just unconventional, it was intentional. The result was a deeply personal, emotionally grounded body of work with melodic layers that inspire movement and reflection in equal measure.
“It’s the kind of music that uplifts without being overbearing,” Kenny Flowers shared. “Perfect for late-night drives, deep thinking, or just vibing out.”
To complement the sonic mood of Move, AVM partnered with Kenny Flowers on the release of the “Gotta Move” music video, which premiered on March 28th. Shot with a cinematic eye and grounded in emotional clarity, the video captured the urgency and momentum behind the track while visually reinforcing Kenny Flowers’ identity as a storyteller through both sound and image.
